Add the eggs, milk, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to a shallow dish and whisk to combine.
Spritz the basket of your air fryer with oil spray.
Quickly dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and then place in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure to leave space between each piece. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Cook at 380 degrees for 8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
Notes
If your air fryer is not large enough to cook the full batch at once, keep cooked slices of French toast warm on a sheet pan in a 200-degree oven until ready to serve or set aside on a plate and add all pieces back to the air fryer at 350 for 1 minute to rewarm.
