No need to thaw your shrimp in this easy air fryer recipe. Toss it straight from the freezer into the air fryer, cook, and then drizzle with an easy garlic butter.
Spritz the basket of your air fryer with oil spray.
Add the frozen shrimp to the basket and spritz shrimp with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and shake basket.
Air fry at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until the shrimp is cooked through.
While the shrimp is cooking, place the butter and garlic in a small bowl and microwave until the butter has melted. Stir in the red pepper flakes.
Remove the shrimp to a serving dish and drizzle with the butter mixture, stirring to coat.
Sprinkle with fresh minced parsley before serving.
Notes
We tested this recipe using medium frozen shrimp. For smaller or larger shrimp, adjust the cook time accordingly. Shrimp is done with it is opaque with pink accents.You may use tail on or tail off shrimp. Do not thaw the shrimp before cooking.
