pound
frozen cooked shrimp
peeled and deveined, tails removed, thawed
1
red bell pepper
1
green bell pepper
1
onion
1
tablespoon
oil
1
teaspoon
chili powder
1
teaspoon
cumin
1
teaspoon
sugar
1
teaspoon
salt
½
teaspoon
onion powder
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
¼
teaspoon
cayenne
Instructions
Place the thawed shrimp in a medium sized bowl.
Slice the peppers and onion into strips and add to a second bowl.
Drizzle half the oil over the shrimp and half over the vegetables.
Add all of the seasonings to a small bowl and stir to combine.
Sprinkle the spice blend evenly over the bowl of shrimp and the bowl of vegetables. Stir well to coat.
Dump the vegetables into an oiled air fryer basket and cook at 390 degrees for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
Add the shrimp to the basket and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
Serve hot with tortillas and your favorite toppings.
Notes
If starting with raw shrimp, add the shrimp to the air fryer with the vegetables after 5 minutes. Let shrimp cook for 10 minutes to cook through.
