Open the can of biscuits and separate each biscuit in half to form 16 thin biscuit pieces.
Use a small spoon to drop scoops of pimento cheese into the center of each piece of biscuit dough.
Fold up the edges of the biscuit to fold the cheese into the center. Roll into a ball, sealing the edges so the cheese does not leak out.
Place the biscuits in an air fryer basket in an even layer, leaving space between each for air to flow.
Add the butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to a small bowl and whisk to combine.
Brush the butter mixture over the dough.
Air fry at 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes, or until dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Let sit for 3 minutes before serving.
Notes
Grand’s Flaky Layers work best in this recipe as the biscuits are larger than most and are easier to stuff. They also peel apart nicely, making it easier to get 2 biscuits out of one.We used store bought pimento cheese this time around, but this recipe also works well with homemade.
