This avocado grilled cheese recipe is simple, super simple. In under 10 minutes you get a crispy, buttery grilled cheese with creamy avocado layered between slices of cheese.
Spread the outsides of each piece of bread with butter.
Arrange two pieces of bread, butter side down, in the air fryer. Top each piece with 1 slice of cheese, avocado slices, and the remaining slice of cheese. Place remaining bread on the top with the buttered side up.
Air fry at 360 degrees for 4 minutes, flip, and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes or until bread is as golden brown as you’d like.
Serve hot.

Bacon makes a great addition to this grilled cheese! Use our air fryer bacon recipe and add it in between the cheese with the avocado.Spice things up by using pepperjack in place of American. Sliced tomato is a great addition. Add it in with the avocado.
