Tossing salmon in the air fryer is an easy and healthy way to get seafood on the table for dinner. We serve these as an appetizer or in a bowl with rice and broccoli.
Pat the cubed salmon dry to remove any excess moisture.
Add the cubed salmon to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Stir gently to coat.
Sprinkle the seasoning over the salmon and stir gently again to coat.
Place salmon bites in a greased air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry at 400 degrees for about 6-7 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and browned. Gently shake basket halfway through cooking.
To serve:
Add cooked rice and broccoli to a shallow bowl or plate and top with the salmon bites. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
Notes
These salmon bites are delicious with a variety of seasonings. Feel free to get creative! We use Tony Chachere’s Cajun Seasoning, which is quite salty. We do not add extra salt. If you’re using a Cajun seasoning that does not have salt, you’ll want to add a bit. You may add salt to taste after cooking. These also make a great appetizer. Serve with a simple remoulade sauce for dipping. See blog post above for a remoulade recipe. To make this meal low carb, swap the cooked rice for cauliflower rice. The carb count for the salmon alone is 3g carbs, 1g fiber = 2g net carbs.
