Tossed in honey barbecue sauce, loaded with our favorite toppings, and served up in a hot dog bun - just like Buffalo Wild Wings serves. Perfect for the big game or a fun twist on lunch!
Spritz the air fryer basket with oil spray and arrange chicken strips in a single layer. Spritz lightly with oil spray.
Air fry at 380 degrees for 10 minutes.
Flip the chicken strips and air fry at 400 degrees for 2 minutes.
Add the BBQ sauce to a bowl and add the chicken strips. Toss to coat.
Place each chicken strip in a hot dog bun.
Sprinkle the lettuce, cheddar, and red onion evenly between the buns.
Drizzle with ranch dressing and serve.
Notes
We use frozen chicken tenders in this recipe to keep it simple, but our homemade air fryer chicken strips work great too!Steam the buns before adding the chicken or place the chicken in the buns and return to the air fryer (with it turned off) to warm the buns for one minute. You can drizzle chicken strips with the BBQ sauce rather than tossing them in the sauce, if preferred.
