Trim the ends off the green beans and rinse the beans well.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the green beans to the pot and boil about 3 minutes.
Remove the beans from the boiling water and place in a large bowl of ice water. Let sit for 2 minutes and then drain and pat the green beans dry.
Add the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt to a shallow dish and stir to combine.
Add the eggs to a second shallow dish and beat with a fork until smooth.
Add the panko, Parmesan, and remaining teaspoon of salt to a third shallow dish and stir to combine.
Dip the green beans first in the flour, then egg, and then panko, taking care to fully coat each green bean.
Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees. Spritz the basket with oil spray.
Arrange the breaded green beans in a single layer and spritz liberally with oil spray. Air fry for 5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Repeat with remaining green beans, if needed.
Serve with garlic aioli or ranch, for dipping.
Notes
Don't overcrowd your air fryer when making these. You'll need space between each green bean for the air to flow for optimal crispy goodness. Feel free to adjust the seasonings to suit your tastes. Cajun seasoning or Italian seasoning add a nice touch.
