A frozen bag of edamame turns into a crispy, savory snack in under 15 minutes with this Air Fryer Edamame recipe. No boiling, no steaming, just toss and air fry!
Add the frozen edamame to a mixing bowl and add the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and chili powder. Stir to coat.
Transfer the edamame to the air fryer basket and air fry at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking.
Once the edamame are browned and crispy on the edges, remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with salt.
Serve hot or at room temperature.
Notes
To eat, you’ll pick up one shell with your hands and hold the end in your fingers while using your teeth to pull the beans out of the pod. You’ll get the flavor from the outside without actually eating the shell. If you like things spicy, toss these in a bit of chili crisp before serving.
