1
tablespoon
olive oil
1
teaspoon
sugar
3
slices
bacon
Salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
Remove the core from the cabbage and chop the cabbage into 1 inch pieces.
Add to the basket of your air fryer and drizzle with olive oil and sugar. Stir well to coat the cabbage.
Chop the bacon into small pieces and sprinkle over the top of the cabbage. Do not stir.
Place the basket in the air fryer and cook at 380 degrees for 6-7 minutes or until bacon is starting to crisp.
Stir the cabbage and bacon together and continue cooking for 5 minutes or until cabbage is as tender as you’d like.
Transfer to a serving bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Notes
Sugar helps bring out the natural sweetness of the cabbage a bit more, but it isn’t necessary if you’re cutting carbs or avoiding sugar.
