Add the chicken, egg, panko, parmesan, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to a mixing bowl and stir well with a wooden spoon or your hands to combine.
Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop out portions of the meat mixture and roll into 20 meatballs.
Spritz your air fryer basket with oil. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer with a bit of space between each in the basket. You may need to work in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
Air fry at 400 degrees for 7 minutes or until the meatballs have reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Remove the meatballs to a plate and cover with foil while you make the second batch of meatballs, if needed.
While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the hot honey sauce. If you’ve made it ahead, warm it in the microwave or on the stove until it's pourable.
Place the meatballs in a large bowl and pour the hot honey sauce over the top and gently toss to coat the meatballs in the sauce.
Serve hot.
Notes
We like to serve these in a bowl with white rice and broccoli, topped with green onions. Extra sauce can be drizzled over the top or saved for another use.
