These Air Fryer Pita Chips are made with just a handful of ingredients and cook up golden and crispy in minutes. Perfect for dipping in hummus, tzatziki, or serving alongside your favorite Greek-inspired meals.
Slice the pita into 8 triangles each and place in a large bowl.
Drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle on the garlic salt, pepper, and salt. Use your hands to toss everything together, making sure that all of the pita chips have a bit of oil and seasoning on them.
Place the pita chips in the basket of your air fryer and air fry for 4-5 minutes, shaking every 2 minutes until the chips are as browned and crisp as you’d like.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
If you want your pita chips to be extra crisp, work in batches while air frying, arranging the pita chips in a single layer rather than piling them on top of each other. I like the crispy/chewy bits and prefer these just piled in the basket. I’ve made these with a variety of seasonings. Cava just uses a simple mix of salt and pepper (delish!) and we also love these with ranch seasoning. I like to serve these with hummus or tzatziki for dipping, but they also make a great side with our Greek chicken bowls. I like to use the chips as a scoop for eating my bowl. I’ve found that different brands of pitas cook a bit differently, so like many things in the air fryer, you’ll want to keep an eye on these. Keep an eye on them as you shake the basket to check for browning and crispness and pull them when the chips are how you want them.
