Air fryer frozen broccoli is a great way to prepare this delicious veggie, making it taste just as good as fresh broccoli! The best part is the whole process only takes 10 minutes!

Broccoli. You love it or you hate it. Or like me, you used to hate it and now you love it. 😉

If you are at all interested in low-carb dieting, this will become a staple in your diet.

I used to hate it when it was soft and mushy, and totally bland because it wasn’t seasoned at all. Now I know how to make it without the texture of a pudding made out of grass.

As I have gained experience cooking, I have found myself cooking broccoli multiple times per week. It is healthy, and easy to make so it is a perfect side dish option and something worth spending some time to figure out how to make it how you would like it. So that’s exactly what I did!

FAQ:

Is frozen broccoli less healthy than fresh broccoli?

Nope! In fact, this may surprise you, but frozen broccoli is many times MORE HEALTHY than fresh broccoli as it has much more beta-carotene in it. This will help your body create vitamin A.

Should I thaw the broccoli before cooking it?

No. You can use the broccoli straight from the freezer!

Can I freeze my own fresh broccoli?

Yes, if you blanch it. Don’t try to just put raw broccoli in the freezer, it won’t taste good. So just boil your broccoli for 3 minutes, then pat dry and put in your freezer. Easy to do if you don’t want to buy packaged frozen broccoli or have a large garden full of broccoli!

    Morning Chad.
My Air Fryer only goes up to 200 degrees F, while the items you discuss should be 350 degrees F. This makes things a bit more awkward.

Hi George! Are you sure it’s not going up to 400 degrees celsius? I can’t imagine an air fryer would only go to 200F!That wouldn’t be hot enough to cook most things.

I just tried this with sesame oil and garlic and it turned out amazing! Crispy and not mushy at all. I usually drizzle some fish sauce at the end for the saltiness. Almost ate the whole pound bag myself!

No, not at all. It’s just roasted broccoli. 🙂
