Air Fryer Frozen Chicken Strips are so simple and convenient for a quick lunch or dinner! Serve them with dip, over salad, or in a tortilla wrap!
One of my favorite meals of all time is chicken strips with waffle fries. My first job was as a server, and the restaurant I worked at had the best chicken strips and the best waffle fries.
Really, they had the best everything, I miss that place!
Anyway, I eat chicken strips and waffle fries together at least once a month, sometimes more often! Being able to make them at home and them still be nice and crispy is awesome!
Our homemade air fryer chicken tenders are great, but sometimes you just need something quick!
Ingredient Notes:
Chicken Strips- Full cooked and breaded chicken strips will work best here. Use whatever brand you like best. We often buy Tyson.
Dips- A good dip is essential! We like ranch, BBQ, buffalo sauce, honey mustard, or the sauce from our Captain Crunch Chicken.
How to Cook Frozen Chicken Strips in the Air Fryer:
Spritz your air fryer basket with oil spray, or brush it on if you don’t have a spray bottle.
Place your chicken strips in a single layer in your air fryer basket and then spritz them also.
Then air fry for 10 minutes at 380 degrees F. Flip the chicken and cook for 2 more minutes, but increase the temp to 400 degrees F for those final two minutes. This will crisp up that breading.
FAQ:
Ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, Southwest Ranch, or garlic parmesan sauce.
French fries, side salad, cheese sticks, or cottage cheese!
