Our Philly Cheese Steak Crunch Wrap takes about 15 minutes to cook and is absolutely amazing! Combining the Philly cheese steak with the Taco Bell inspired crunch wrap is a match made in Heaven!
The Taco Bell crunchwrap supreme has inspired me. Motivated me. Moved me. This is the thing I dream of.
I ate these like 4 days in a row when I first had one. I was addicted.
Nowadays, I never order them any more. I know, sadface right? Well, no. Not so much.
Today I make my own homemade crunchwrap supreme at home! I am sorry Taco Bell, but I like mine better and I don’t have to leave my house! I even made a special Chicken Bacon Ranch Crunchwrap to mix things up! So good!
Today though, I was craving a crunchwrap, but also craving a Philly cheesesteak. What is a girl to do? Combine them of course! The result was spot on what I needed to cure my cravings for both!

Steak – We’re using ribeye for the best Philly steak flavor, but you can use more budget-friendly sirloin.
Veggies – We will add an onion and a green bell pepper – my favorite things to add to a Philly cheese steak.
Seasonings– Worcestershire sauce will make the steak pop. Olive oil and seasoned salt will do the rest of the work!
Crunchwrap– We will assemble all this with tostada shells, 12-inch flour tortillas, white American cheese, and mayo.
Special note on the Cheese– Many argue that a Philly cheesesteak can only be served with Cheez Whiz. If this is you, use it in place of the white American cheese!
You may use ground beef in place of steak for a more budget-friendly alternative. Cook the beef and vegetables in a skillet on the stove and then proceed as directed.
How to Make Philly Cheese Steak Crunch Wraps in the Air Fryer:
- Chop & Season – Cut your steak into small pieces, then dice your onion and pepper. Put all three in a mixing bowl. Add your Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, and seasoned salt to the bowl and stir to coat.
- Air Fry– Line the bottom of your air fryer basket with parchment paper and pour the meat mixture on top. Air fry for 8 minutes at 390 degrees F. Shake your basket halfway through cooking for even cooking.
- Assemble – Arrange your flour tortillas on a counter and add a slice of cheese in the center. Divide your meat evenly over the cheese and top with another full slice of cheese. Add a tostada and a tablespoon of mayo over each tostada. Fold your tortilla up and over the center all the way around the tortilla until it is closed.
- Air Fry– Wipe out the air fryer basket and place your crunchwrap seam side down. Spritz with oil spray and cook at 380 degrees for 3-4 minutes.
Recipe Tips!
You can cook the beef and vegetable mixture in a skillet on the stove if preferred. Just cook until the steak is cooked through and veggies are tender in a hot skillet.
Be sure the meat mixture is still hot when assembling the crunch wrap or the cheese may not fully melt in the air fryer.
FAQ:
You may use ground beef in place of steak for a more budget-friendly alternative. Cook the beef and vegetables in a skillet on the stove and then proceed with step 5 in the recipe.
You can swap the American cheese for pepper jack cheese to add a little kick, or you could sprinkle fresh chopped jalapeno in with the beef and vegetables for more of a kick.

Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 pound ribeye steak
- 1 small yellow onion
- 1 small green bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoned salt
- 4 12-inch flour tortillas
- 8 slices white American cheese
- 4 tostada shells
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Finely chop the steak into small pieces. Dice the onion and pepper. Place everything in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, and seasoned salt to the bowl and stir to coat.
- Line the bottom of the basket of your air fryer with parchment and pour the meat mixture on top.
- Air fry at 390 degrees for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- Arrange the flour tortillas on a work surface and place 1 slice of American cheese in the center of each. Divide the meat mixture evenly over each piece of cheese. Top with another slice of cheese, a tostada, and spread 1 tablespoon of mayo over each tostada.
- Fold the edges of the tortilla up and over the center, working your way all the way around the tortilla until it is fully enclosed. Spritz with oil spray.
- Wipe out the air fryer basket and place the crunchwrap seam side down in the basket. Spritz the top with oil spray. You'll likely need to work in batches as most air fryers will not be large enough to cook all 4 at once.
- Cook at 380 degrees for 3-4 minutes or until lightly toasted.
- Place in a 250 degree oven on a baking sheet to keep warm while making the rest of the crunchwrap supremes.
- Serve hot.
