These Greek Chicken Kabobs combine all those fresh Mediterranean flavors we love to make these zesty, juicy, tender chicken kabobs in the air fryer! Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, these are sure to be a family favorite – especially if you pair them with our homemade tzatziki sauce.
It’s probably no surprise at this point that we’re pretty obsessed with the flavors of Greece.
Fresh herbs, bright lemon juice, and plenty of garlic make Greece cuisine so flavorful that we just can’t enough.
Of course, we’re from the United States and our Mediterranean foods are inspired by other recipes we’ve tried – probably not authentic, but delicious nonetheless. Like our Greek fries, Greek chicken pitas, and Greek chicken wings!
Imagine biting into tender, juicy pieces of marinated chicken, perfectly air fried to perfection. Combined with a cucumber salad or rice, you will have a hard time finding a better meal.
The magic of Greek chicken kabobs lies in the careful balance of flavors. We’re keeping our Greek chicken kabobs on the simple side and starting with Greek dressing that we doctor up just a bit. This allows for a simple marinade that still packs in tons of flavor – especially if you use our homemade Greek dressing!
Much like our air fryer steak kabobs, the kids love to eat these, too. Not sure what it is about food on a stick, but it’s always a hit in our house.

Chicken – We use boneless, skinless chicken breasts for this recipe. We tend to prefer white meat in my house, but you can swap this for chicken thighs if that’s what your family prefers.
Seasonings – You will need Greek salad dressing, minced garlic, and Greek seasoning.
Our homemade Greek dressing is our favorite, but Newman’s Own makes a delicious Greek vinaigrette that also works well.
We use and love Cavender’s Greek Seasoning. It’s one of our favorite spice blends and we use it often on chicken, pork chops, and more.
How to Make Greek Chicken Kabobs in the Air Fryer:
- Chop – Cut your chicken into one-inch cubes. Trim off any fat as you’re cutting.
- Whisk – Grab a large bowl or even a large zip-top plastic bag and add your Greek dressing, garlic, and Greek seasoning to it. Whisk to combine all these ingredients.
- Marinate – Add the chicken to the marinade and toss to coat. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer, up to about 6 hours.
- Air Fry– About a half hour before cooking the chicken, place about 10 skewers in a bowl of water to soak them. When you are ready to begin cooking, thread 5 pieces of chicken onto each skewer and then air fry for 10 minutes at 390 degrees, flipping halfway through cooking.
