Hot dogs are the ultimate easy lunch or dinner! We all grew up eating them, they are easy, they are yummy, and kids go nuts for them!
We love making air fryer hot dogs for lunch (and air fryer corn dogs, too!), but we thought it might be time to step up our game a little and bring some bacon into the mix.
There aren’t too many foods that aren’t improved by the addition of bacon, after all!
Use the beer cheese sauce from our air fryer brats recipe to top these dogs and you’re really in for a treat! Or just drizzle on some ketchup and mustard, top with a bit of relish, and dig in!

Hot dogs – We are making four hot dogs with this recipe. You can adjust accordingly to the number of people you intend to serve. We advise you use normal-sized hot dogs instead of foot-longs. The bacon wraps around them better and they fit nicely in the air fryer.
Bacon – Regular or center cut bacon work best for this. Don’t use a thick cut or it won’t cook through as nicely.
Buns- Your favorite hot dog bun will do fine here. If you want to go low carb, just skip the bun!
When it comes to hot dog toppings everyone is unique! Add onions, relish, chili, ketchup, mustard, mayo, cheese sauce, or anything else that makes you feel good with every bite! This is one of the best parts of hot dogs…customizing them!
