The best indoor smores are air fryer smores! The marshmallows come out so evenly cooked and perfectly golden, and you don’t have to worry about catching your ‘mallow on fire!

We all love sitting around the fire telling stories, singing songs, and most importantly cooking our s’mores!
It is an all-time favorite experience passed from generation to generation. And there is absolutely no replacing that experience.
However, when it comes to the s’mores, we have definitely moved beyond the campfire. We have made s’mores flavored everything. Cereal, pop tarts, candy bars, granola bars, and more!
We’re also getting creative with cooking up the traditional s’mores without a fire. I’ve made them over my gas stove in a fit of desperation. Then I found this indoor smore’s kit and put it to use. This thing is pretty cool when you want to sit around with friends and toast marshmallows over a fire without making a big ol’ fire.
But then we discovered indoor s’mores in the air fryer and I think it’s my favorite method for a perfectly cooked mallow, smooth and melty chocolate, and the least amount of prep and clean up!
Plus, your house will smell like an ice cream shop from the graham crackers and marshmallows – smells like freshly baked ice cream cones and pure sugar. So delicious and way better than any candle. 😉
Ingredient list:
Graham Crackers – We usually grab honey Grahams, but the cinnamon ones can add a fun touch.
Marshmallows – You can use regular marshmallows, but you can also get s’mores marshmallows and that is what we used in this recipe.
Candy Bars –A simple Hershey’s bar is the obvious choice, but we absolutely love s’mores made with Reese’s. Feel free to get creative and pop in your favorite candy!
How to air fry smores:
These directions are for cooking four at a time. If your air fryer is smaller, no problem just cook one or two at a time.
Place four graham cracker squares (split a whole cracker in half) in your air fryer basket and top each of them with a mallow.
Cook these at 400 degrees F for about 5 minutes until the mallow is toasted to your preferred level.
Add your chocolate on top of the mallow and top with another graham cracker square.
Leave your air fryer turned off, but let the s’mores sit in your air fryer basket for another 30 seconds to allow the chocolate to melt.
Swaps & Substitutions:
Replace the graham crackers with Ritz for seriously outrageous s’mores. The sweet and salty are perfect together. You’ll want to use the regular-sized marshmallows for this as the giant s’mores mallows are too large.
Chocolate chip cookies (pre-packaged or homemade) would be a fun base for s’mores too! Try my air fryer cookie (split the dough into two cookies) as a tasty option!
I am a chocolate and peanut butter fanatic. It is only natural that I would replace the Hershey’s candy bar with Reese’s peanut butter cup. I do this every time I am making one for myself.
Likewise, we almost always keep a jar of Biscoff cookie butter and Nutella in our pantry. These both make fantastic substitutes for chocolate. Smear some right on the top cracker before smooshing together.
If you are into fruity things, bananas and strawberries can be piled on over your chocolate also!
FAQ
It is a combo of the words “some more”. Trust us, if you eat one you will want smore!
Baby wipes are your best friend if you are feeding these to kids. Most adults can eat them without a big mess though!

S’mores ended up in big ball in the air fryer, what a mess. I cut the bottom off of the marshmallow and stuck it to the graham cracker, but that didn’t help. Didn’t even get to the point of adding chocolate.

I thought about that happening. I would put the air fryer on Big, so the air doesn’t move the marshmallows around.
