Air fryer frozen garlic bread is an easy and quick way to cook garlic bread straight from the freezer! No need to wait for the oven to preheat – just pop it in the air fryer and it cooks in 5 minutes!

This is a super simple recipe – beginning to end it is just about 5 minutes.

Does this taste better or different than baking your frozen garlic bread in the oven? Nope! The key difference is that you don’t have to wait for the oven to preheat.

I don’t know about you, but I ALWAYS forget to preheat the oven for garlic bread, which means that we’re either waiting extra long or we just skip out on our beloved garlic bread.

Not anymore! The air fryer makes it so quick. No need to preheat – just pop it in there and let it cook for 5 minutes.

Not a fan of the frozen stuff? Our extra cheesy air fryer garlic bread is a major favorite. So rich and decadent, it could almost be a meal by itself!

Frozen Garlic Bread – This recipe requires 4 pieces of frozen Texas toast garlic bread.

You can use frozen garlic bread, or you can use frozen garlic bread with cheese like we did in the pictures. Either way, as long as it is frozen, it should not change the recipe!

FAQ:

How long does it take to air fry frozen garlic bread?

Cook frozen garlic bread in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes at 380 degrees F. It should be golden brown and crisp around the edges.

Can I put the bag in the air fryer with my frozen garlic bread?

No, please don’t. Instead, remove the bread prior to placing it in the air fryer.

Can I add cheese to my frozen garlic bread?

You sure can! We recommend a little mozzarella or a cream cheese and parmesan cheese mixture. You can add to your garlic bread after 5 minutes, and let it sit in the air fryer with the air fryer turned off to melt the cheese.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces frozen Texas Toast Garlic Bread

Instructions

  • Add garlic bread to the air fryer basket in an even layer.
  • Air fry at 380 degrees for 5-6 minutes or until hot and golden on the edges.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

You can use plain frozen garlic bread or the type with cheese. Both will cook in around 5 minutes, depending on your air fryer.
To add your own cheese to frozen garlic bread, cook the bread first and then sprinkle with cheese and return to the hot air fryer for 1 minute. Leave the air fryer turned off – the residual heat will melt the cheese.
If you’re making multiple batches of garlic bread, the second batch will cook faster as the air fryer will be hot. Reduce the heat to 360 and keep an eye on it so as not to burn the garlic bread.

In your notes you say “If you’re making multiple batches of garlic bread, the second batch will cook faster as the air fryer will be hot. Reduce the heat to 380 and keep an eye on it so as not to burn the garlic bread” but the original says “Air fry at 380 degrees for 5-6 minutes or until hot and golden on the edges”. What should I reall redce the temp to for additional batches?
