Ingredient Notes:
Brussels Sprouts – Fresh will always have the best flavor. The best sprouts for this recipe will be firm and tightly packed. Try to avoid black spots or yellowing leaves.
Recipe Tips!
Don’t be afraid to take your time to pick out good Brussels sprouts at the grocery store! If you get larger Brussels sprouts, they are similar to firm cabbage. Smaller ones will have a slightly sweet taste.
Whether going large or small, you want to find sprouts that are tightly layered rather than have their outer leaves falling off.
Balsamic Vinegar – This just adds a touch of sweetness and tang to the Brussels sprouts. You can drizzle a bit more at the end, for a bigger punch, if desired.
How to Air Fry Brussels Sprouts:
Prepare the sprouts – Wash them and trip the ends off the sprouts. Next, slice them in half. Add them all to a bowl and top with avocado oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt. Toss to coat them.
Cook them up – Cook these seasoned sprouts for 10 minutes at 390 degrees F. Shake them halfway through to help them cook evenly. Check them and if you would like them to be more tender, cook in additional one-minute increments.
FAQ:
Sure thing! Dip these in garlic aioli for a fun appetizer!
Yep, you sure can! They won’t crisp up quite as nicely as fresh and they may need a bit more time. We do prefer fresh Brussels sprouts.

Question: cut in half or quarters? Story says half, picture looks half but recipe says quarters. Thank you. Making tonight.

Hi Jeannie! Sorry for the confusion! We cut them in half, unless any are extra large and we cut those into quarters so they cook evenly. 🙂
