Our keto air fryer recipes are the best of both worlds – they fit your low carb lifestyle and they use your favorite appliance at the same time! These are simple low carb and keto recipes that we make often in our home and I bet you will too!
Whether you’re starting a new diet (hello, keto!) or you’ve been following the lifestyle for a long time now, there is one thing that is true…Planning ahead is the key!
Keto can be so simple, but if you don’t have a plan for what to eat each day, it can get tricky fast.
For that reason, we always have low carb snacks on hand, plenty of go-to options in our fridge and pantry, and a meal plan for the whole week. It keeps me on track and helps me stick with a low carb way of eating.
Another favorite tip for keto is to make dinner easy! You’ll be cooking from scratch a lot, so having easy recipes can be really helpful and we all know the air fryer makes life easier and dinner cooks faster.
We’ve gathered up some of our favorite keto air fryer recipes to share with you down below!
What is keto?
Keto is short for the term ketogenic. It basically means that you’re eating few enough carbs (usually less than 20 net carbs a day) that your body starts producing ketones and burning fat for fuel instead of carbs.
I’ve done keto off and on for years with much success. I find it a fairly simple type of diet that has loads of delicious food options. I’m never hungry, which is a big part of success for me.
How do you calculate net carbs?
Many people following a keto diet (though not all) count net carbs instead of total carbs. Net carbs are the carbs that your body is able to process and use for energy.
To calculate net carbs, you take the total carb count of a food and subtract out the fiber.
For example, a cup of raw broccoli has 6 grams of carbs and 2.4 grams of fiber. That means there would be 3.6 net carbs in a cup of raw broccoli.
Is the air fryer helpful for a keto diet?
Absolutely! The air fryer is often used for cooking frozen convenience foods, like french fries and nuggets, but we like it most for cooking fresh food quickly while still making it taste delicious, without a bunch of added oil!
Fresh and frozen vegetables are delicious in an air fryer and fresh meat comes out so tender and juicy in the air fryer. There are loads of air fryer keto recipes that you’ll love.

We really love our Cosori. It’s probably the fav of all we’ve tested. It cooks quickly and evenly, it’s nice and quiet, and it’s a good size. Here’s our affiliate link for it, if you’d like to read some Amazon reviews too: https://amzn.to/3t7qMvD
